San Antonio re-assert their dominance on Western Conference with blowout win.
The battle for the number one seed in the Western Conference is a three way race between San Antonio, LA Clippers and Oklahoma City.
Wins like this will make people think that maybe LA and Oklahoma are clutching at straws after the Spurs’ huge win at home over the Kings.
From start to finish this was an efficient and scary performance by San Antonio who were led Manu Ginobili with his 15 assists off the bench.
One cause for concern on the night however was the injury starting point guard Tony Parker suffered during the third quarter. It is believed the Frenchman went down with a high ankle sprain, which could sideline him for around 10 games, but after the performance of Ginobili, the Spurs should be okay.
As the regular season enters its final two months, this is the time teams need to hit form as playoff seedings are becoming even more important.
If this win is anything to go by, we may already know who will hold the number one seed in the west.
