In case you didn’t know, Sunday saw the biggest rivalry in US football take place, as Seattle Sounders faced off against Portland Timbers.
As if the game wasn’t already to be hyped up enough, with both sides desperately chasing a Western Conference playoff spot, it also saw the first home game for Seattle’s newest star Clint Dempsey.
In the end it was the Sounders who won the Cascadia Derby, a perfectly glanced Eddie Johnson header enough to seal three points for Deuce and the home side.
