The San Francisco 49ers lead the San Diego Chargers, 35-21, in the fourth quarter. 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had lost a fumble to give the Chargers a touchdown.
The Chargers trimmed the 49ers’ lead to seven points after their fumble recovery touchdown, but Kaepernick redeemed himself in the best way possible by scoring a touchdown.
The dual-threat quarterback ran 90 yards for a touchdown, marking his first rush touchdown of the season and the longest of his career.
Although the 49ers will not be in the playoffs, they have pride and spoiling the Chargers’ playoff dreams to take away from this game if they hold on.
Here is a video from Vine of Kaepernick showing off his read-option ability once again.
