German champions travel to Ukraine for first leg of last-16 tie
Shakhtar Donetsk entertain Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie at the Donbass Arena on Wednesday night.
The Ukrainian title holders have not played a competitive match since losing their final group game at home to Juventus at the start of December.
However, head coach Mirca Lucescu is looking forward to the challenge facing his side and is confident they can progress to the quarter-finals.

“Of course, Borussia Dortmund have played official games in German’s championship,” said Lucescu in the pre-match press conference.
“We’ve played semi official games in the cup tournaments we took part in. And this is not competitive, but we have made preparations to be on the same level.
“According to meetings we had in Emirates and Spain, I can say that team is ready very good, they truly prepared and we can answer you tomorrow can we win Borussia.”
