Sterling allegedly caught on tape making racist remarks.
Charles Barkley has called upon NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to act swiftly in his first real test in the role after Donald Sterling was alleged caught making racist remarks.
The Los Angeles Clippers owner has come under intense criticism in the immediate aftermath of the conversation being released by TMZ, in which he discourages his girlfriend from bringing black people to games.
The likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Magic Johnson, who was directly involved in the situation, have all made their feelings clear on the matter, while Clippers coach Doc Rivers revealed that the team briefly considered the idea of boycotting Sunday’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
However, he believes that Sterling’s comments shouldn’t impact on the dreams of his players winning an NBA championship, and like the rest of us he will await news from Silver once the process and investigation is concluded and punishment is handed out to Sterling.
As ever, Shaq, Chuck and ‘the Jet’ have not been shy about sharing their opinion on the matter, with Barkley calling for an immediate suspension.
