Brook in confident mood that he will be bringing the world title home…
The wait is almost over as Kell Brook will take on Shawn Porter for the IBF welterweight world title in California on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old has been full of confidence all week ahead of the biggest fight of his life, and he maintains that he will “go through gears that no one has seen from me before” as he looks to rip the IBF strap away from Porter.
In contrast, the American champion has impressed in his last two fights against Devon Alexander and Paulie Malignaggi respectively, the latter suffering a brutal technical knockout loss, and he believes that he will continue to improve starting on Saturday night.
However, Brook has an unwavering belief that this is his time and he will be fully aware that victory in this fight will undoubtedly put him in the spotlight for bigger fights in the future, with Amir Khan recently suggesting that he would like to face the winner.
Nevertheless, the focus is on Carson, California, on Saturday night and Brook is raring to go. Watch the full press conference and head-to-head courtesy of iFL TV:
