Former England and West Ham footballer Sir Trevor Brooking traveled to the Oval to visit the site of the first ever FA Cup final in 1872.
Although two Wembley stadiums have now famously been the inaugural home of the cup final and the England national team, it is a little known fact that the Oval used to host football before it transferred to cricket.
It is the 150th anniversary of the FA and on that day a century and a half ago Wanderers beat the Royal Engineers 1-0 in what has gone on to be the most well known domestic cup competition in the world.
