Lewis Hamilton made history yesterday by becoming the first British driver to win three Formula 1 world titles, but there was at least one person not celebrating his triumph at the United States Grand Prix.
Nico Rosberg, who has been his Mercedes teammates’ closest rival for much of the season, showed that he is a sore loser by childishly throwing his podium cap back at Hamilton after the race in Austin.

The German started on pole position and had hoped to win in America to keep the championship race alive, but Hamilton overtook him on the first corner on his way to a title-clinching victory.
The two are childhood friends whose relationship has turned sour since stepping up to cut-throat world of F1, according to BBC Sport. Rosberg seemed to be taking out a season of frustration at often coming second to Hamilton in one petulant throw of a cap which, unfortunately for him, was caught on camera!
Of course, there could be another explanation. As The Sun reports, Rosberg is a huge Bayern Munich fan and saw them beaten 2-0 by Hamilton’s beloved Arsenal, according to Sky Sports, in the Champions League last week. I don’t think they will be sitting down to watch the return fixture together!
