Greg Inglis previews the 2013 season for the Rabbitohs.
Surviving what he labels a tough pre-season both physically and mentally, South Sydney superstar Greg Inglis is looking forward to another strong performance by the Rabbitohs.
Finishing the 2012 season in third place the Rabbitohs were looking hot contenders for the title, but were rudely woken when they faced fellow top 4 teams in Melbourne, Canterbury and Manly.
The loss of Dave ‘the coal train’ Taylor will hurt the Rabbitohs, but the signing of another former Bronco in Ben Te’o will do a lot to soothe the pain. Ben Te’o may prove an even more influential player than Taylor with a higher work rate and greater consistency.
Coach Michael Maguire has worked wonders with halfback Adam Reynolds whose form has been exceptional under the tutelage of Maguire.
The Rabbitohs are another team bursting with talent but a tendency to under-perform. If they can utilise the players they have at their disposal they could well be title contenders this season.
