Curry ended the game with 27 points as the Warriors secured a 110-106 win at the Staples Center over their rivals and extended their winning streak to 10 games.
Blake Griffin responded with 40 points while Paul added 27, but it wasn’t enough for the Clippers to overcome the Pacific Division champions who came back from a 17-point deficit to take the win.
However, the play of the night came from the leading candidate for the MVP award this season, as Curry faked Paul to the floor before drilling the jumper from the left corner after dribbling behind his back.
While the Warriors bench certainly enjoyed it judging from their reaction, even the Staples Center were left stunned by the move as they can be heard in the background. This doesn’t happen to CP3 very often but Curry is making it a habit of making both the point guard and the Clippers team look a little bit silly.
Golden State improve to 61-13 for the season with this win, and Curry will undoubtedly be looking forward to the playoffs where his team may well start as favourites to win a championship.
