Stint on the sideline sees small forward return despite ongoing police investigation.
It looms as one of the most important games of the season for Carlton, but much of the focus this week has been on their opponents St Kilda naming Steven Milne in their side.
The Saints have again picked the veteran who has been out for several weeks on the back of formal rape charges being laid against him, relating to an incident in 2008.
Milne has been taken off public promotional duties for the club but said they could not longer deny him the chance to earn a living by playing.
AFL boss Andrew Demetriou beleives Milne will get a mixed reaction when he steps out to play the Blues, but said the competition backed St Kilda’s decision to return Milne to action.
While the season is a lost cause for the Saints they do get back key forward Nick Riewoldt for the clash.
