The batsman thinks the foundations were set by Vijay and Hussey for his unbeaten 99.
Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina has praised his fellow batsmen Murali Vijay and Mike Hussey for laying the foundations in their 2013 IPL win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Sunrisers have made their home ground a fort this season but 67 from Hussey followed by 99 not-out from Raina helped CSK record the first win at the venue for an away side this season.
The Indian batsman’s form in recent matches has seen him rise up the Orange Cap standing for most IPL runs to third, two places behind Hussey who tops the list currently with 574 runs.
