6. Justin Langer – 105 Tests (7696 runs, average 45.27)
Langer was seen as a grafting opener, who along with partner Matthew Hayden, formed a formidable batting pair. He scored a huge 1481 runs in 2004 and during England’s famous Ashes victory over Australia in 2005, was the only batting highlight from his team – leading with 394 runs at an average of 43.77. Retired from international cricket after helping Australia win back the Ashes in 2007.
