Virat Kohli’s 133 against Sri Lanka in 2012 was voted the best ODI batting innings ever.
On 7 March 2012 young batsman Virat Kohli spearheaded his India side to victory with an impressive 133 with the bat.
Kohli was up against a formidable Sri Lankan bowling attack that included Lasith Mailinga and yet the batsman took the game to the opposition and India won the match with over 13 overs to spare.
The highlight of Kohli’s innings was hitting six fours off an over from Malinga and he also scored the winning runs to complete an unbeaten 133 and a near-perfect one day batting performance.
