When asked by US entertainment and gossip site TMZ to reveal something embarrassing about himself, the American boxer removed his sock and showed off his extra digit.
Hilariously, and we’re not sure if he’s being serious here, Garcia actually believes his bonus toe is the reason why he has been able to stay on his feet in the ring and why he has never been knocked down to the mat.
Perhaps he does have a point, with a formidable 29-0 in his career, 17 of which were knockouts.
And the Puerto-Rican-born fighter currently holds the WBC, Ring Magazine and WBA (Super) Light Welterweight titles – but these belts won’t be up for grabs in his fight with Peterson on Saturday.
Garcia is perhaps most famous for knocking out Amir ‘King’ Khan in 2012 inside four rounds which allows him to unify the light welterweight division.
