14 time major winner was happy with his start as he looks to win his fifth Green Jacket.
After carding a very solid 70 in his opening round at this year’s Masters, Tiger Woods said afterwards that he was satisfied with his performance and leaves himself in a good position for the next three days.
Rarely leaving himself in any danger throughout the two under performance, Tiger was also happy with the way he putted, something that will give him confidence should he remain in contention on Sunday.
Sergio Garcia and Marc Leishman currently lead the tournament after day one, four shots ahead of Tiger on -6.
