Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the top five best headers of the ball in the world – as illustrated by his goal for Real Madrid against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Who else joins him amongst the elite?
When Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League, he was 78cm in the air according to the Daily Telegraph – more than most NBA players.

Real Madrid – Manchester United 28′ Gol… by realmadridplay
When Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League, he was in the air so long that he was able to celebrate three birthdays. The Daily Telegraph claimed that he breached 5G in force lifting off the ground.
Ronaldo is so often compared to Lionel Messi at Real Madrid’s arch rivals FC Barcelona, but there seems little argument the Portuguese is better at heading. For a start, he’s taller, and able to jump higher in comparison to his height than most fleas.
Lionel Messi would not have been able to score Ronaldo’s goal against Man Utd. In fact, few players would have.
