3. Will the Los Angeles Lakers make the play-offs?
Ahead of the All-Star break, there were genuine doubts as to whether Kobe Bryant would be lighting up the post-season.
The Los Angeles Lakers were desperately struggling to add team cohesion to their game, and were on the outside looking in as the likes of the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets occupied the final play-off spots in the West.
However, since that weekend in Houston, the Lakers have looked a different team. Bryant has stepped up his scoring while Dwight Howard is beginning to deliver.
Their record now stands at 33-31 for the season, while they have won eight of their last 10 games and are on a three-game winning streak.
The ‘Black Mamba’ promised Lakers Nation a post-season, and a post-season he will deliver.
