Beal leads the Wizards past Toronto on Sunday night.
Bradley Beal matched a career high of six three-pointers as he went for 24 points off the bench in the Washington Wizards’ 109-92 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
John Wall was also instrumental, leading the offense with 18 points and 10 assists while committing just one turnover as the Wizards made it seven straight home wins.
Led by Beal’s production, the Wizards enjoyed a 62-25 bench-scoring advantage that turned out to be crucial to their win. Jonas Valanciunas top-scored for the Raptors with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to help his team make an impression in Washington.
Both teams are unlikely to make the play-offs in the Eastern Conference, but will hope to finish the season well with the Raptors facing the Detroit Pistons on Monday as the Wizards host the Chicago Bulls.
