Andre Villas-Boas expects UEFA to take action against Inter Milan, after alleged racist chants from sections of the San Siro support.
Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says he expects UEFA to punish Inter Milan after alleged racist chanting from sections of the San Siro crowd, during the Nerazzurri’s 4-1 win over Spurs in the Europa League last-16 second leg.
The Portuguese said it was ‘very, very easy’ to hear the chanting, which marred a fine performance from the home side.
Spurs’ crucial away goal, scored in extra-time by Emmanuel Adebayor, sealed the Londoners’ progress to the quarter-finals, after a thrilling 4-4 draw on aggregate.
