London giant set to clash at the Lane in front of the TV cameras.
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Andre Villas-Boas speaks ahead of the North London derby with city-rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
“Well, I think we are obviously on a good run of form and extremely confident,” said the Portuguese in his pre-match press conference.
“I don’t know if it’s going to be decided (who will finish higher in the table) on whatever result happens this weekend. I think even seven points difference – if we manage to win – it’s still recoverable for a team like Arsenal and their objectives.
“No, not for me, for the fans it will be tremendous. I think the rivalry is something very special, I have spoken about it at the game we played at the Emirates. There is a demand from everybody to achieve success in this fixture, independent of whatever position you finish in the league.
“So, he (Gareth Bale) is going to be a major threat in the game. You cannot allow him any kind of space in this position he has played now. How he can turn up in different places, you know, he unsettles opponents with his pace, with his power or with his technique.”
