The Portuguese boss is not giving much away concerning the Welshman.
After an opening day win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas is delighted with the new signings but is keeping quiet about Gareth Bale.
The Wales international missed the 1-0 victory for Spurs at Selhurst Park, with a penalty from debutant Roberto Soldado securing the points for the away side.
Villas-Boas had praise for Soldado and fellow new stars Paulinho and Etienne Capoue, but would say nothing more on Bale other than the forward is injured.
