It’s not been an easy season for Gylfi Sigurdsson at Tottenham but there are signs that the young playmaker may be hitting form at just the right time for the north London club.
After opening his Premier League account in the 3-2 victory over West Ham last month, and scoring in the Europa League win over Inter, Sigurdsson was brimming with confidence during Iceland’s 2-1 World Cup qualifying win in Slovenia.
The 22-year-old opened the scoring with this looping free-kick and added another to seal victory for the minnows.
