Tottenham Hotspur youngster Tom Carroll has been making some cameos for the high-flying Premier League outfit of late and the classy midfielder has been rewarded with a place in the England under-21 squad.

Carroll, 21, wasted no time in settling in, scoring this fabulous left-foot half-volley in training, in front of the watching Stuart Pearce.

With Spurs slipping to three consecutive defeats of late, boss Andre Villas-Boas might be tempted to freshen up his squad in the coming weeks, which could mean we see more of that sweet left foot before the end of the current campaign.
