Cleveland Browns running back believes his hit on Kurt Coleman is the reason behind the rule change.
Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson believes he is to blame for the ‘Truck Rule’ change, after his devastating hit on Philadelphia Eagles safety Kurt Coleman.
Richardson told the Cleveland Press: “I feel like I made it bad for all the backs.
“I feel like it’s my fault.”
Whether it was his fault or not will never be known, but it is very clear from now on that similar hits can expect a very heavy fine.
