Celtics even played rapper’s ‘California Love’ to thrill fans in attendance.
Despite slipping to a 20-point loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, Boston Celtics fans were delighted when a celebrity look-a-like appeared on the big screen at the TD Garden.
The Celtics fans seemingly had little to cheer about all night as they fell to a 108-88 defeat to the visiting Warriors, but then a fan in the crowd was spotted who looked a lot like deceased rapper Tupac Shakur.
With chains and his signature bandana tied around a bald head, the fan clearly wasn’t trying out a new look, and to his credit, he looked a lot like the rap legend as he acknowledged the crowd and his new-found fame.
Nevertheless, with the team playing so poorly, he provided the local faithful with something to laugh about as the Celtics even added to the fun by playing Tupac’s ‘California Love’ track much to the delight of the supporters.
