Number two contender continues to have the wood over his friend and rival.
They were friends before the fight but said they would have not hold back once the Octagon door closed.
And that’s exactly how Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen attacked their main event bantamweight bout as part of The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas.
Faber and Jorgensen battled hard through the first three rounds but it was the cornrowed Faber who was narrowly ahead as the fight entered the fourth.
From there, the superior ground game of Faber saw him make the most of a small opening and finish Jorgensen via submission.
Faber now moves to 28-6 in his professional career and 4-2 in the UFC, while the loss sees Jorgensen fall to 14-7 in mixed martial arts and 3-3 in the UFC.
