Liga outfit confident of overcoming big-spending Parisians.
Valencia head coach Ernesto Valverde believes that his side are in good form going into the first leg of their Uefa Champions League last-16 tie at home to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
“We are going through a good moment,” the recently-appointed coach said in his pre-match press conference.
“Our morale is good. These types of games are opportunities for us. Opportunities that we have in front of us and we need to seize them. In front of us we have a great team with great players in a competition in which we all play to our maximum level.”

However, Valverde was unsure as to whether or not PSG’s recent new signing David Beckham would feature at Mestalla or not.
“He is a great player. We don’t know the role he will play for Paris Saint-Germain in the coming months,” Valverde said.
“I suppose it is still too early for him to play tomorrow. But I suppose he will be playing the second leg game.”
