Former first round pick left the Raiders facility with a good impression on the coaches after a solid workout.
After a very impressive workout at the Texas Longhorn’s Pro Day, Vince Young was invited to a private session with the Oakland Raiders, to go over more routes and throws, as the team continues to evaluate all options at the position this off-season.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapport tweeted yesterday of the success of Young’s workout which could cause rumours to stir about him signing a backup contract.
Interested to hear that Vince Young was among the QBs that worked out for #Raiders yesterday. So did Troy Smith. Heard Vince looked good.

Young has been to the Pro Bowl twice in his career, but a string of poor performances, plus off-field problems surrounding his desire to lead and learn as a professional, which ultimately saw him out of the league after the 2011 season.
Below is his tape from his recent workout in Texas, showing that he does still have the capabilities to play in the NFL.
