Curry continues hot scoring streak in New York.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry enjoyed a productive night at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, but couldn’t save his team from a 109-105 loss against the New York Knicks.
A night after scoring a season-high 38 points against the Indiana Pacers, Curry was it again after shooting a franchise record 11-of-13 from beyond the arc en route to scoring 54 points.
However, unfortunately for Curry and the Warriors, they still fell short in New York, with Carmelo Anthony going for 35 points. He was ably supported by the likes of J.R. Smith, Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler who all finished in double figures.
The Warriors were without All-Star David Lee, after he served his one game suspension for his role in the brawl in Indiana.
Nevertheless, it was a superb effort from Curry, who continues to demonstrate his incredible potential. Despite missing out on an All-Star call of his own in Houston earlier this month, the 24 year-old is not short of confidence.
Take a look at him in action in the video below as he pours in 54 points at the Garden:
