Sandow’s challenge has raised plenty of debate.
Canterbury may have already won over the Parramatta Eels earlier this week but debate still continues over whether the challenge by Chris Sandow on Josh Morris was a shoulder charge.
The challenge caused Morris to lose the ball only five metres from the Dragons try line and led to a try for Parramatta with only minutes remaining before half time.
Ex-referee boss Bill Harrigan who was commentating on the match called the move a shoulder charge, sparking debate over the legality of the challenge.
Sandow’s arm wrapped around Morris in the challenge which most believe constitutes a tackle being attempted rather than a shoulder charge.
