The Washington Redskins have fallen behind 7-0 against the New York Giants. This is largely thanks to a fumble by quarterback Kirk Cousins, which allowed the Giants to gain excellent field position.
The Giants started their possession at the Redskins’ 24-yard line and marched down the field for a touchdown.
On the momentum-changing play, Cousins was sacked by Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka before defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins recovered the ball by diving on it.
Cousins has started out looking like a shell of the form he showed last week.
Here is a video from Vine of the fumble that helped the Giants take an early lead.
