Jurgen Klopp’s first home game in charge of Liverpool was a frustrating affair which ultimately ended as a 1-1 draw.
Russian visitors Rubin Kazan shocked Anfield when they took a 15th-minute lead through Marko Devic, but Emre Can levelled 22 minutes later, moments after Oleg Kuzmin had been shown his second yellow card of the match.

Playing against 10 men, Liverpool dominated possession in the second half, but they could not make it count.
In the match overall, the Reds registered 35 shots, only six of which hit the target.
Eighteen were off target, 11 were blocked and one – a late effort from substitute Christian Benteke – hit the post.
Liverpool now sit second in Europa League Group B on three points from three games. They are four points behind leaders Sion and one above Rubin and Bordeaux.
Their next European fixture is away to Rubin on November 5.
