The striker was taken part in an open session in Southern Spain ahead of the World Cup holders’ warm-up fixture with Bolivia on Friday night.
However, Torres’s hopes of making his country’s final 23-man squad for the tournament were not helped by his display on Thursday, including the numerous attempts he needed to beat former Liverpool team-mate Pepe Reina in goal seen below …
