Round 4 of the Rugby Super 15.
Leading 28-19 with only 20 minutes remaining, the Canterbury Crusaders looked in control of the match, until a late half surge catapulted the Wellington Hurricanes to a one-point win.
Beauden Barrett kicked five penalties for the Hurricanes but it was winger Alapati Leiua who snatched up a loose Adam Whitelock pass, and with the Crusaders at his ankles, ran away for the match-winning try.
The run-away try sealed the unlikely 29-28 win for the Hurricanes despite a sharp-looking Dan Carter and a strong second half by the Crusaders.
The match was full of handling errors with both teams struggling to build up pressure and complete consistent phases.
