Wenger won’t change his footballing philosophy…
Arsenal take on Turkish side Fenerbahce in a tricky Champions League qualifying tie this evening, and manager Arsene Wenger knows how good a side his opponents are.
With Dirk Kuyt, Raul Meireles and Joseph Yobo all in their starting line-up, Fenerbahce have players with real Premier League experience who will relish the Arsenal challenge.
Wenger though, will carry on playing a slick brand of possession football despite being away from home.
“Sometimes when you have the ball you can lose – like we did on Saturday, but over many games, we will win more than we lose,” said the veteran French boss.
The Gunners fell to Aston Villa 3-1 at home in the opening day of the Premier League season, and will hope for a dramatically different result this evening.
