Carlesimo ready for Game 7 in Brooklyn as Nets tie the series.
Brooklyn Nets coach P.J. Carlesimo has praised his team for finding a way past the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Thursday, stating that they’re “looking a lot better”.
The Nets have now won the last two meetings between the two Eastern Conference rivals and have tied the series 3-3. The deciding game takes place in Brooklyn on Saturday, and Carlesimo is seeing improvements in his team.
“Things are looking a lot better for us than they did when we were leaving here last Saturday”, he told the media in his post-game press conference.
Chicago led the series 3-1 after their thrilling triple overtime win at the United Center last Saturday, but have spurned the chance to progress in the last two games.
It is the first time they have lost to the Nets at home all season, and they now have it all to do on the road if they are to deny Brooklyn the chance to face the Miami Heat in the next round.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau will be desperate to have some key players return to full fitness, but for Carlesimo, he will expect more of the same from his team as they close in on a series triumph.
