British teenagers try to answer simple questions, with mixed results.American Football is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.
It is having two NFL regular season games here next season, both of which are sold out, equaling 160,000 tickets sold.
More and more people are taking the sport up, at youth, uni and senior level, with the London Blitz European champions.
So why do teenagers still struggle with even naming the league?
It remains a mystery to me, but then i’m biased. I have the sad knowledge of being able to name all of the Superbowl Winners, loser MVP’s, and Quarterbacks to at least 1997.
That’s probably one of the reasons why I do this for a job, so maybe i shouldn’t look down on these kids who were clearly put on the spot without any help.
Still, some of the answers are quite funny, and slightly cringy for a genuine NFL fan.
