Dutch giants keep pace with arch-rivals Ajax at the top of the table.
PSV Eindhoven enjoyed a comfortable 3-1 win at last-placed Willem II to remain on the coat tails of Eredivisie leaders Ajax on the weekend.
Despite struggling to break down their stubborn hosts for the majority of the first half, the visitors did finally manage to take a deserved lead with them into the half-time break when veteran skipper Mark van Bommel tried his luck from distance to fire them in front.
However, Willem stunned PSV by equalising through Jordens Peters’s powerful header with just a quarter of an hour remaining – only for two late strikes from Ola Toivonen and Timothy Derijck to add an unflattering score to proceedings.
