Chelsea appear to have beaten London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Anzhi Makhachkala playmaker Willian, and the Brazil international has proven himself a wonderful attacking midfielder in his time in Russia – and before that in the Ukraine, when he played for Shakhtar Donetsk.
Jose Mourinho nodded and smirked when asked whether Willian had chosen to move to Stamford Bridge ahead of White Hart Lane, and it is easy to see why the prospect of seeing the 25 year-old in a Blues shirt would put a smile on his face.
