While putting up huge numbers early on in the season, Smith struggled late in the campaign once teams took away his first option.
The 6ft 3in QB has trouble going through his progressions and, when under pressure, the 22-year-old is prone to making poor decisions. This is something that can be taught with age and coaching. Considered to have the most potential out of all the available players in this category, a team may decide to select the raw player and let him learn from a veteran, instead of immediately starting him.
