Linebacker tweets fans that he promises title, despite poor showing in playoffs last year.
The 2012 season has barely finished, players are still on vacation and the media are hell-bent on churning out any story that is slightly related to the National Football League.
That doesn’t mean it is too early for players to guarantee their fans they will win the Superbowl.
However, it isn’t Tim Tebow saying the Jets will win the big one. Even he isn’t that delusional.
Von Miller of the Denver Broncos has become the first of a long line of players that will guarantee the Superbowl for their fans.

This is certainly a realistic statement to make. The Broncos were the number one seed in the AFC last season and had arguably the most complete team in the league. An overtime loss to eventual Superbowl champions the Baltimore Ravens is nothing to be ashamed of, though the fact that it was at home makes it feel like an opportunity missed.
Miller is an elite linebacker and is one of the main reasons why the Broncos were a success last season, along with that guy called Peyton Manning. Most of their starters are returning next season, which is a massive bonus for teams looking to win the championship.
If they can upgrade at cornerback or safety early on in the draft, then there absolutely no reason why this prediction cannot come true.
