Wallabies captain Michael Hooper has reportedly been involved in a late night drunken incident in Byron Bay overnight.
According to Channel Nine, Hooper was out in the north-coast New South Wales town at around 2am when a friend of the Waratahs man jumped on a parked car.
The pair then allegedly attempted to pull a road sign out of the ground.
Police will reportedly charge Hooper’s friend, but not the Wallabies back-rower.
The 23-year-old this year became the youngest Wallabies captain in history and also led the Waratahs to a maiden Super Rugby title.
