Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is out of practice for the third day in a row with what was initially thought to be flu symptoms.
Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed, who is entering his second year in the NFL, is sitting out of practice for the third consecutive day.
He appeared to have flu-like symptoms, but it may be more than the Redskins initially thought. It is unknown what is happening to the tight end, but he may have a serious illness.
Reed already missed significant time last season with a concussion, so any other sort of injury or serious illness would be bad luck for him.
Here is a tweet from the Redskins’ official Twitter account quoting head coach Jay Gruden.
Gruden on TE Jordan Reed: “We thought it was just a little flu-type symptom thing,” but it’s lasted longer. No practice for 3rd day today.
