3. Everett Golson, QB, Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish quarterback had his best game of the season as he totaled six touchdowns against Navy, and he completed 72 percent of his passes in Notre Dame’s win. The Irish are now 7-1 and still in contention for a college football playoff spot.
Although Golson has thrown seven interceptions this season, he makes up for it with his 22 passing touchdowns and rushing numbers along with making the Fighting Irish a legitimate national title contender again after taking them to the BCS title game in the 2012 season.
