1. Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
Mariota crossed beating Stanford off his bucket list as he led Oregon to a 45-16 blowout over them, and he came up with four total touchdowns in the win. The Ducks now have an 8-1 record, and they are still seen as a frontrunner to win it all.
The junior quarterback is on track to reach 30 passing touchdowns for the third year in a row, and a win against Utah virtually guarantees Oregon will reach the Pac-12 championship with just one loss as they will only have Colorado and Oregon State remaining. Unless Prescott leads Mississippi State to an undefeated season and finishes strong statistically, the Heisman will likely go to Mariota.
Stats: 2,541 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, 68.1 completion percentage; 71 carries, 410 rushing yards, 7 touchdowns; 1 reception, 26 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
