2. Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
The Wisconsin running back was not able to replicate his performance against Nebraska, and he had his record broken by Oklahoma freshman running back Samaje Perine, who rushed for 427 yards and five touchdowns. However, Gordon is the only running back who can rush for 200 yards in a game and have fans just shrug it off.
Gordon did exactly that with two touchdowns on 31 carries, and he reached a season-high 64 receiving yards. The Badgers appear to be headed to a Big Ten title matchup with Ohio State, and the stakes will be high for Heisman votes between Gordon and Barrett.
Stats: 254 carries, 2,109 rushing yards, 25 touchdowns; 15 receptions, 147 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
