3. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
Abdullah dominated every aspect a running back can in the Cornhuskers’ win against Rutgers. He ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries while adding 26 receiving yards, and he also gained 90 yards on two kickoff returns. His total of 341 all-purpose yards set a school record.
The Nebraska running back now has 17 rushing touchdowns on the season, and the Cornhuskers have a 7-1 record. In all but two of his games, Abdullah has rushed for at least 100 yards and at least 200 in four of them.
