The news will be a blow as it comes when Arsenal are entering a clutch of vitally important fixtures including next week’s Champions League last-16 second leg tie away at Monaco and Liverpool at home, a hugely important game in deciding the top four.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will also miss England’s upcoming international fixtures against Lithuania and Italy.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s game against West Ham this weekend, Wenger said, “It’s a hamstring injury. He’ll be out for three to four weeks.”
The England international played earlier this week against Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter final victory at Old Trafford, but came off before the end of the game after he picked the injury up.
