Giroud scored twice in less than three first half minutes and manager Arsene Wenger says that the striker is a transformed player following his fine performance against Boro.
“He is a different player to the time when he arrived here,” Wenger was quoted bu CaughtOffside.
“He understands what top level football demands. He has improved on his mobility and technical quality, and, of course, his body is very strong and he uses it very well.”
The Gunners are in a good position to defend their FA Cup crown after reaching the last eight of the competition and with improved Premier League form and a Champions League Last-16 tie with AS Monaco to look forward to, things are looking a lot more positive for Wenger’s men after a shaky start to the season.
Giroud has certainly played a big part in that since returning from an injury that saw the France international miss much of the start of the 2014/15 campaign.
The 28-year-old forward has 10 goals in 18 matches in all competitions so far this term.
